Fabien Mendez
Fabien Mendez is the co-founder of Sanctu, a climate tech company helping low-income Amazon landowners boost their income by 10x while restoring forests and capturing carbon. Sanctu offers financing, technical support, and logistics to these farmers, who produce certified bioproducts and carbon credits. Fabien holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a Masters in Finance and Strategy from Sciences Po. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2012 when he founded a company called GoJames, which he describes as an "epic fail." However, immediately after this, Fabien saw a huge opportunity in bringing technology to the logistics space. Alongside Arthur Debert, he founded Loggi, which later in 2019 achieved unicorn status after a $150 million Series E round. Today, Fabien continues his journey, leveraging all his experience to solve a significant challenge in the region: regenerating the Amazon at scale by bringing prosperity to local communities.
