Anderson Silva
Anderson Silva is the founder and CEO of iGlu, a startup dedicated to enhancing the retail ecosystem by building a connectivity layer for omnichannel brands. iGlu eliminates technological barriers, allowing merchants to focus on what truly matters for their brand’s growth. Anderson was born in the countryside of São Paulo, and from a young age, he balanced study and work to support his family. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from USP São Carlos. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research in Artificial Intelligence in Brazil and Australia, interned at two Google offices, including the headquarters in Silicon Valley, and participated in an academic exchange program with a scholarship at McGill University, Canada. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he accepted an offer to become CTO of Grupo Ênfase, leading the company's digital transformation. In 2020, he became CTO of Sallve, one of the largest digital beauty brands in the country and also a Canary's portfolio company. During this period, he faced significant challenges in retail operations, which inspired him to launch his own venture, iGlu, in 2022.
